Postcard from Provence – The Science & Benefits of Grounding

Most of us are happy to walk on the beach barefoot. Or maybe you would do this anywhere. Or never.
We have ideas about where and when things are ‘right’ to do, and when wrong – and our thoughts of what is right and wrong can be good, but sometimes they can cause us to miss out on some lovely and important experiences in life.
Here I’m explore Grounding – the connect too the earth beneath us that happens when we walk barefoot on the earth, sit outside, touch a tree. There is a science to this idea that is fascinating and understanding it can powerfully benefit your health.
Why dont we walk on the ground often? Preconceived ideas and childhood conditioning can be so strong they can get in the way of us making big and small changes in our life. Even ones that could benefit us, like this, or many others that could open up our world, give us more joy.
Yet we can start to really free ourselves from past limits and conditioning if we watch the automatic negative reactions that come up so fast for us in different situations, and explore these little deeper.
So when if you see any, ask yourself – where could they have come, and are they still even true for you? Then clear them away if they are no longer true for you, and see what can then be possible for you…..
