Cassandra James Ltd shall have no liability for any failure or delay due to matters beyond its reasonable control. The foregoing shall not apply to the extent prohibited by applicable law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cassandra James Ltd, its contractors and licensors, and its respective directors, employees and agents, from and against any claims and expenses, including solicitors’ and court fees, arising out of your use of the website, including but not limited to due to your violation of this agreement.
The Company (Cassandra James Ltd) shall not be in breach of these Terms & Conditions if there is any total or partial failure of performance by it of its promises, duties and obligations under these Terms & Conditions occasioned by any act of God, fire, act of government or state, war, civil commotion, embargo, pandemic, prevention from or hindrance in travel, or in being able to meet up, or to perform or supply any agreed services or event, and any other reason beyond the reasonable control of the Company (each a Force Majeure Event). If the Company is unable to perform its duties and obligations under these Terms & Conditions as a direct result of the effect of a Force Majeure Event, it will give written notice to the Client/ Member of the inability, stating the Force Majeure Event in question. The operation of these Terms & Conditions will be suspended for the period (and only during the period) during which the Force Majeure Event continues. Promptly upon the Force Majeure Event ceasing to exist, the Company write and give notice to the Client/Member of this fact.
This agreement, and any access and use of the website, will be governed by the laws of England. Any disputes arising out of this agreement or website will take place in the state and federal courts in Bristol, England. Any arbitration relating to copyright infringement will take place in Bristol, England, in the English language. If any part of this agreement is held to be unenforceable, this does not affect any other part of the agreement. A waiver of any part of this agreement in a particular instance does not waive that part for any subsequent instances.

The diagnosis and treatment of disease is solely within the license of the medical profession. While AcuEnergetics® can be used entirely on its own, it is not intended as a substitute for medical or psychological diagnosis and treatment. Cassandra Punita James offers energy treatments, wellness balances, meditation, life & emotional balance guidance and will give you support to assist you to function, physically and emotionally, at an optimal level.
• If you are currently taking medication and you wish to discontinue it, you should consult a physician about this. If you decide to stop the medication without the approval of a physician, you assume full responsibility for this decision.
• Cassandra Punita James is not a physician or a nurse. Rather, she is a highly skilled guide and SeniorAcuEnergetics® practitioner of over 12 years clinical experience. (Cassandra Punita James acquired her full accreditation from the AcuEnergetics® School in Sydney, Australia.) You agree to notify her of all your known medical conditions and injuries, and agree to inform her of any changes in your health and medical condition. You understand that there shall be no liability on her part should you forget to do so.
Work with Cassandra Punita James also helps you to take care of your whole self (mindset, emotional wellbeing and physical body) and this involves you taking responsibility for yourself. In these you can learn how to develop balance in yourself and your life, and doing this can reduce the chance of health problems developing in the future. Cassandra Punita James will work with you to help you live a life that is physically and emotionally in flow.
By booking an appointment/program/retreat with CassandraPunita James, you are saying that you understand the above information, and will abide by the conditions.
Payment for all Services
Clinic Sessions & Clinic Programs:
There are several payment options for Clinic Sessions.
Cash is accepted (in advance, or on the day of the session).
They can also be paid by credit card, cheque or direct bank deposit (in advance).
If you sign up for a Clinic Session package, this must be used within the time agreed when booking. Prices are liable to change at any time, but these changes will not affect any confirmed bookings or purchases.
Intensives, Retreats, Events and 3-6 Month VIP Programs:
These events can be paid for though our Merchant facility, or by bank transfer or cheque. They are to paid in full at the time of booking unless another arrangement is offered. Installments are possible under certain circumstances, please contactinfo(at)cassandrajames.com for the details.
VAT is not chargeable on any of our Products or Services. However, if in the future VAT becomes chargeable, all prices will be treated as exclusive of VAT, and VAT will be charged in addition.
Clinic Sessions – Cancellations, Missed appointments & Late Arrivals:
A booking is confirmed once Cassandra James Ltd and the client have agreed on a date, time, duration and location for a treatment.
Regarding session treatments:
If a cancellation is made more than 48 hours before a treatment at a clinic, then the client will not be charged. If a client misses or cancels an appointment, giving less than 48-hours notice, then the full payment for the session will still be due, except in certain circumstances where Cassandra Punita James, at her discretion, may reduce or waive the fee. Full payment for missed appointments must be made within 24 hours of the cancelation.
If you are unable to attend a session you may send someone else for your appointment time.
Cassandra James Ltd has the right to cancel an appointment without notice if the room or environment is unsuitable for the treatment to be provided, or if the therapist is taken ill.
Due to Cassandra Punita James’ other clinic commitments, treatments will end at the scheduled time. Therefore, a client who arrives late will have their treatment time reduced by the number of minutes they arrived late. The treatment will finish at the pre-agreed time. The full cost of the treatment booked will still be payable by the client.
VIP Programs, Retreats, Intensives & Events:
Once you have booked in and paid the deposit, or the full amount, for an event, retreat or program, then you are committed to attending the event you have booked in for.
You can change the date of the event with up to four weeks in the UK (or six weeks in any other country) four week’s notice in the UK, or six in other countries, (though no less than two weeks) this will only be possible at Cassandra James’ discretion and you will be charged a 10% fee (of the total event price) for rebooking to cover expenses. Otherwise event dates are fixed and cannot be changed less than four/six weeks after they are booked and confirmed in writing by Cassandra James Ltd. These can be transferred to another person. If you do have an emergency that may affect you attending, please write to Cassandra James ASAP regarding this. Last minute changes are at her discretion.
If you purchase an event, retreat or program and it includes course materials, these materials will only be made available to and accessed by you. You must not make available, copy, distribute, sell, broadcast or otherwise supply in any medium or manner these materials (or any part of them) to any third party.
Personal possessions are the sole responsibility of the client. We accept no responsibility or liability for any items that are lost, damaged or stolen at a Cassandra James Ltd retreat, event or treatment.
We accept no liability for personal damage, injury or illness suffered during your stay, or during your travel to or from, a Cassandra James event, retreat or treatment.
We reserve the right to alter the itinerary of any retreat or event, upon giving you prior written notice before the due arrival date. We reserve the right to change the time or date of bookings if a teacher or practitioner suffers an accident or illness, or cancels, or if an event outside our control occurs. If this happens we will inform you as soon as is practically possible.
Alternative dates will be offered, however if we cancel a retreat or event we are not responsible for any incidental expenses that you may have incurred as a result of your booking, such as accommodation arrangements or non-refundable flights etc.
When attending one of our events or retreats, we recommend that all customers have adequate travel insurance that covers cancellation, curtailment, personal liability, accident or illness, and loss of luggage and personal effects.
You consent to us using images of you taken during events and retreats (apart from Private VIP Retreats and Clinic Sessions where photos will only be taken with your approval) for advertising and promotional purposes in any medium we choose. You grant us a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable license to use such images for publicity and promotional purposes.
