(Vlog) Wild Animals – our DNA in the Forest

I went up to the oak forest above my Provencal village today, where wild trees, and wild animals, insects and plants live…walking on the soft forest floor of leaves I started slowing down to its different and unhurried time, and felt my whole body settling, rebalancing, relaxing.

When did you last go exploring and being in a wild wood, forest, or bushland?

These places may not seem that important in the light of all else we have on in our mostly city-based lives, but they are essential to our bodies deepest well-being.

For in our DNA we are still wild animals with different needs.
To relax, rebalance and even heal our DNA, and the cells of our body, we need to go back to our original landscape – wild places…

And there, fall back into the rhythm of wild places, of the forest.

I really feel the difference that hanging out in wild forest make when I’m in Provence, for here every mountain and even the hills are covered in forests and woods and I walk in them daily.

In the forest there are ways of being, of experiencing it, that can nourish our bodies at these deep levels, and so make everything else easier in our life.

This is what I’m sharing today, taking you up to one of the oak forests near me to explore –
• the depth of deep healing benefits you can receive by just spending time in some wild woods
• how long you should spend there to see a measurable difference (it’s not long)
• what to do when you are there to enjoy all these benefits
