(Vlog) On Mysteries, Einstein & Discoveries Beyond the Impossible
You, me and all of life and the world around us are seeped in and grounded in mystery.
Mystery is ‘something unexplained, unknown, not understood’.
The word comes from the ancient Greeks, who really understood the potential within it.
Our hearts and our creative ‘right brain’ can tap into all that allowing mystery can give us, but our answer-seeking ‘mind’ finds allowing the unknown quality of mystery much more of a challenge!
So Google has become our best friend, and we usually look for fast answers to the myriad questions that come up for us all.
Yet when we take the quick answers we find there as the full truth we could miss deeper meanings, mysteries and radical innovation.
We could miss a chance to transform our thoughts, our world or the whole planet.
Einstein said –
‘The most beautiful experience we can have is the mysterious.
It is the fundamental emotion that stands at the cradle of true art and true science.’
Exploring the ‘mysterious’ opened a door for Einstein to find the world-changing discoveries he uncovered….

I was thinking on this while on my morning run through an ancient Scottish woodland yesterday.
Woods, trees and wild landscapes help reconnect us to ancient times, a simpler way of being, to our instinctual self – and so to deeper mysteries.
And I always find the old woods in Britain are filled with mystery. they are a powerful place to reconnect to it.
So I sat with the trees a while, and filmed this for you…
