Have you noticed what animals do when they have gone through an intensely stressful situation?

It’s curious, but this instinct quickly frees them from what happened.
For they are in touch with their instinctual brain more than us and know the right things to do.

But us?…Our human new brain, for all it’s cleverness in other areas of our life, also overrides many instinctual responses to situations – so it often suppressed this instinct, to our loss.

Shame – for it’s a really helpful instinct to stay in touch with.

And is key for times when we feel primal emotions like – stress, worry, panic, scared, angry, sad, etc.

So, if you feel any of these, or other uncomfortable emotions, instead of trying to rationalize with yourself, or calm yourself down from your mind (which is never good at handling situations like this).

…Instead, try this approach!
Its radically different and like animals have known for millions of years, it works really well and fast.

After all, we never see a gazelle going for therapy to talk about her stress from narrowly escaped being eaten by a lion. No, instead she does this technique straight after and goes back to calmly eating grass.

And it can work wonders for us too…
